It's a Lazy Afternoon...

...and the beetle bugs are zooming and the tulip trees are blooming and there's not another human in view. But we two!... Lazy Afternoon by Jerome Moross

Well, not precisely. On this cool, rainy day, the ducks were swimming in a circular pattern, while others configured in a school-child lines, as if following a teacher or a mother, seemed to be going somewhere important--or not. It didn't matter because this was a lazy, actually, morning and I was alone with the ducks.

The boats at rest, seem to be awating signs of life. I loved the shapes, so simple and clean.

The walk was brief on this day, but meaningful beyond longer walks because of the unexpected solitude and comfort in that state.

Camilla yields her time, is asleep...zzzzz....
